A special new purple winter hardy ISG that is suited to colder climates. This is N. Lieutenant Lang, hybridized by Matthew Koch. The flower is a deeply saturated purple with a bright orange center that stands high off the waters surface. The pads are a deep maroon and purple pattern that fade to green as the pads age. 
 
For best growth results plant Lt. Lang in full day sun in a depth range of 6-24" from soil to surface in the center of a 12" or larger circular pot. Plant the lily in a soil depth of 6" or more as the roots like to dig deep on this hybrid.
